Pyrenean cooking is based on the very best of simple, fresh ingredients. This jam is traditionally made in the heart of the Ariège, at Lorp Sentaraille in France.

Use as a base for desserts such as tarts or turnovers, a topping for ice cream or on its own, hot or cold served with a dollop of whipped cream. Spread on fresh toast or bagels . Marvelous with a foie gras but also red meat and duck fillet. Makes an ideal accompaniment to soft cheeses.
